I have been spectulating that it was ...40 million? I have been spectulating that it was going to be costly, but never did I think of 40 million. Has this been reported somewhere. Good grief. I am an American! And here's a link to one of the many stories I have seen about how much this "coronation" is going to cost: http://www.michigandaily.com/vnews/display.v/ART/2005/01/14/41e7b401cf519Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4283072392763163737.post-48326649946984782782005-01-15T16:35:00.000-08:002005-01-15T16:35:00.000-08:00Not just a big party...but an exclusive big party ...Not just a big party...but an exclusive big party for the rich and powerful. It&...You know, I couldn't agree with you more. It's no wonder why so many other countries hate Americans. Bush should treat this as most people should when they get married for a second, third or forth time....just go off and do it quietly, then make the announcement and let people send you their congratulations. It's just so inappropriate. For one, I...I personally don't quite like the idea. For one, I don't think it will have any kind of impact. Two, if it does, it will hurt people and small business and won't make a hill of beans to those responsible for the festivities. Supposedly, the last I heard anyhow, the party festivities, for the most part, are being paid by special interests. I say boycott these groups. Don't support them with your business now and into the future. Once they hurt on their bottom dollar, they'll change their tune. So, you can hope. :-) ---RobbieAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4283072392763163737.post-39063364565849840062005-01-17T12:57:00.000-08:002005-01-17T12:57:00.000-08:00Thank you for pimping me!I don't see how "...Thank you for pimping me!

I don't see how "Not one Damn Dime Day" will really hurt small businesses...in fact I urge anyone who is considering going along with this to buy the things they need and want to buy on the 20th a few days early. That way those businesses will have enough extra business to make up for a day without. It shouldn't hurt the bottom line. What it will do is make a blip on the stock market and make the news and some smart reporter will ask Why? Why would people do this? Then maybe they will realize the power of the economy is still with the people and that Bush needs to follow OUR will in regards to the war and all other national policy. After all...what we can do once we can do again.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
