That is so lovely. When we had the tag sale for my parent's belongings, the Christmas ornaments were sold before I could mark them not to be sold. It was the one heartbreak, the loss of all those memories.
Yes, indeed. I have several things that my kids have made over the years and sets of ornaments I have bought for them with the intention of giving the ornaments to my children when they become adults with their own homes. Well, Melissa is celebrating her second Christmas with her husband and I still cannot part with her items, I want to hold on to those times past.... Kristi
We still have a handful of ornaments that my folks got during the first years of their marriage or came from my grandmother. They look like a deep breath would break 'em.
Oh, and either put them in the upper part of the tree or put the tree on a table. Kid sister has two boxer puppies. Kid proof or pet proof, works out to about the same thing. LOL
My sentiments exactly. Some of these ornaments look like some of the ones on my tree. I cherish them and the memories they represent; they are indeed old friends.
Ohhh those are the old timey ornaments that I remember from my childhood. My mom held onto them for quite a few years but eventually threw them by the wayside like she does everything else that has, or might have, some kind of meaning. :-) ---Robbie

They are so beautiful. That is what Christmas is all about; memories, and making memories. Pennie

Oooo, I love these. I swear I recognize some of these bulbs! They just don't make them like this anymore.
