Don't we have an extradition treaty with the French. And why would they want to keep him. Unless it's just a stop off on the way to Russia. Hell, why would Putin want to keep him?
Once he was out of the country, I suppose he could go wherever they would take him. He wouldn't be useful to Russia any more, so were I him, I wouldn't go THERE...unless he wants to try out a little bit of that Russian poison...
