All the myriad of lists and chores and errands and minutiae and details I’m stuffing into my days has inspired me to present myself with a creative challenge for this week’s 10 good things. Not just short and sweet. I tried that a couple of weeks ago. No…this time we’re going for ultra-short. One word short. One word per good thing. Or how about two? Let’s see what we can do.
- Last-minute reprieves.
- Grown-up kittens.
- Scented candles.
- Bald eagles.
- Drip irrigation.
- Indispensable husbands.
- Completed paperwork.
- Air-conditioned trailers.
- Employee relations.
- Final week.
Not very poetic, huh? More like cryptic… Oh well. At least I know what I’m talking about.
Things are good.
Hey, employee relations are on the list! Kudos. I'd love to hear more about that.
ReplyDeleteI want to hear about the bald eagle.
ReplyDeleteCryptic is not necessarily bad. A change up from the ordinary is good. I did it myself this week in my list. At the risk of being a copy cat I may try this format in the upcoming weeks! I'm glad to hear that things are good!
ReplyDeleteShort, sweet, succinct. Glad to know that things are good.
ReplyDeleteThose of us who know you have a pretty good idea where you're going with most of these. Not sure about the kittens. Have Al and Theo been especially good this week?

It's the little things that mean the most. Sounds like another successful week ... good for you. Tina
ReplyDeleteOh, I agree w/ Cynthia--employee relations on the good things list--hallelujah! I'm wondering about the reprieves (plural?). Final week with Pollyanna? It seems from the comments that most of us want a little more than cryptic! Something in between paragraphs and two words. Glad all is well in your world.
